Connecting the
community.

Brookline’s library website features a sleek, interactive design that offers a seamless experience across mobile and desktop platforms. As a major driver of engagement, we built the new layout around simplifying how users discover and attend upcoming community events. Our design also prioritized intuitive navigation by improving search capabilities and implementing organized mega-menus, a collection showcase, and a robust content management system, making the library’s many offerings easily accessible.

What They Had to Say

The Library’s new site has exceeded my expectations, andthe project was delivered on time and on budget. Most importantly, users have responded overwhelmingly positively to the new site, so our key goal has been achieved.

What made it special.

Organized Mega Menu

With all of the resources and information libraries have to offer, it was important to make all of the content accessible without being overwhelming. The custom “Mega Menu” layout prioritizes the key categories and topics users are looking for and organizes that information in a simple, intuitive layout with clear subdivisions and clean nested menus.

Events System

Events are a major driver of traffic to the site and the library overall. We designed the custom events widget to sit prominently on the front page with an intuitive calendar, featured events, and individual event pages to capture additional information without crowding the calendar.

Locations & Hours

Key information for all three of the library’s branches is featured in a clear layout that’s easy to access. These sections were built to be easy for site admins to update at any time based on seasonal changes, holidays, and unexpected closures.
