Redesigning a community cornerstone.
In an increasingly digital-first world, Acton Memorial Library was ready for a complete brand and website refresh to greet patrons in-person and online. We worked with the team to fully redesign the brand with a more modern, welcoming feel while staying true to the library’s roots in the community. To accompany the new branding, we next rebuilt the website to showcase the library’s services digitally with a clean, accessible, and easy-to-navigate layout that ties the library’s physical and online presences together.

What made it special.
Refreshed Brand
We delivered a simple, versatile logomark featuring a nod to library’s main branch building, paired with bold, refreshed color palettes and typography. To set the library’s team up for continued success in future projects, we also provided custom social post and email templates.
Responsive Layout
After extensive user research and surveys, users emphasized the need for a responsive, simple layout across devices. The site’s navigation prioritizes key information with quick links and custom widgets for library hours, catalog and account access, search, and event calendars.
