After years as a town website subpage, the Needham Free Public Library needed a strong independent presence as it transitioned to a standalone website. We partnered with their team to build a new, modern website that would reflect the library’s updated branding while providing a simple and straightforward user experience. In the end, we delivered a user-friendly, responsive website that prioritizes quick access to key resources and search functions while maintaining a clear tie to the library’s physical space.
What They Had to Say
Our new website is a great success. Thank you and your team for all their hard work, and for your continued help and support!

Extended Site Design
Extended Site Design
A website’s visual identity plays a major role in user experience. We kicked off the process with input from the community and key library stakeholders and incorporated the feedback into multiple look-and-feel options. The final design emphasizes a clear content hierarchy in a simple layout, quickly guiding users to what they’re looking for.
Clear Navigation
We designed the site to be easy to for anyone to understand, with a clear navigation and no overly technical or stiff language. A straightforward header on the homepage provides quick access to key resources and information, including library hours, catalog, account login, and search options.
Custom Templates
It was important to make editing easy for all library staff while maintaining a consistent brand style across the site with no coding experience required. We custom-built turnkey, flexible page templates and widgets that would be easy to tailor to any content needs.
